Freedom of Art is about expression without apology. It’s about honoring the lineage while trusting my own voice within it. This music reflects my journey — as a bassist, as a father, as a husband, as a student of the masters, and as a teacher preparing the next generation.
Each composition lives somewhere between structure and surrender. There’s swing, there’s spirit, there’s conversation — but most importantly, there’s intention. This project is a reminder that freedom isn’t the absence of discipline; it’s what happens after you’ve done the work.
This album is me embracing who I am — rooted in tradition, open to the moment, and committed to creating something honest.
